Highway footage shows floodwaters rising around the Hawkesbury River Bridge. By 1.30pm on March 3, the swollen river had started to cover the bridge, leading to its closure.<br /><br />According to the Bureau of Meteorology, the Hawkesbury River at Windsor peaked at 11.99 metres around 2:30am Friday, with moderate flooding.
